Debs Tropical Ham Steak Complete Dinner
Tropical Fried Ham Steaks
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
2 Tbs Butter
2 unpacked Tbs Brown Sugar
1 Tbs honey mustard
1 8 oz can pineapple tidbits with juice
2 12. oz Ham Steaks
Directions:
1. Cut each ham steak in half
2. Melt butter in a frying pan on Med Hi heat
3. Add brown sugar and honey mustard
4. Mix together
5. Put in Ham Steaks
6. Cover with Pineapples and juice
7. Cover and cook 5 minutes
8. turn steaks and cook another 5 minutes.
9. Enjoy

Bubbly Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes
INGREDIENTS:
2 to 2 1/2 pounds (about 6 medium) potatoes
1/4 cup chopped onions
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt (additional salt for potato layering)
ground black pepper (for potato layering)
1 tsp parsley
2 cups milk (any kind of milk - I prefer skim milk)
2 cups (8-oz. pkg.) shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
Cheese sauce: melt 3 TBS butter in sauce pan, add 1/4 cup flour and cook until blended. Add 2 cups milk, 1 tsp salt
stir,add the cheddar cheese; cook until melted and bubbly. Add 1 tsp parsley, stir and remove from the stove.
Directions:
1. Place a third of the cheese sauce and cover the bottom of the shallow 3-qt. baking dish coated with cooking spray.
2. Take half of the potatoes and spread them out in a single layer of the baking dish.
3. Salt and pepper.
4. Add another third of cheese sauce
5. spread another layer of potatoes
6. add salt and pepper.
7. Add the last third of cheese sauce and spread to over potatoes 8. Add 2 cups (maybe less) of milk around the edge , then in the center; just enough to cover the potatoes.
9.Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
10.Take out and remove the foil, bake again for 45 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender.
11.Take out of over and let sit with foil covered for at least 10 minutes. Enjoy
Delightful Steamed Carrots with Garlic-Ginger Butter
Ingredients:
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 pound baby carrots with tops, peeled
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Prepare garlic; let stand 10 minutes.
2. Steam carrots, covered, 10 minutes or until tender.
3. Heat butter in large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
4. Add garlic and ginger to pan; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
5. Remove from heat; stir in carrots, cilantro, and remaining ingredients.
6. Enjoy
